Samarkand – Bukhara (2 Days / 1 Night)

This two-day tour introduces you to Uzbekistan's two most iconic cities — Samarkand and Bukhara. On the first day, you'll visit Registan Square, the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the Shah-i-Zinda complex, and Bibi-Khanym Mosque in Samarkand, staying overnight at a hotel in Samarkand. On the second day, you'll travel by the high-speed Afrosiyob train to Bukhara, where you'll see the Samanid Mausoleum, the Ark Fortress, and the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan madrasahs.

Day-by-day itinerary

Departure from Tashkent by the high-speed Afrosiyob train (about 2 hours). Sightseeing of the main attractions: the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, the Shah-i-Zinda complex, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the local bazaar and free time for a walk. Check-in at a hotel in Samarkand, overnight stay.

Boarding the Afrosiyob train, departure to Bukhara. Sightseeing of historical monuments: the Samanid Mausoleum, the Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, the Ark Fortress, the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan madrasahs, the Lyabi-Hauz complex. Free time for shopping and souvenirs.
